curtains close

when the curtains close for the last time, time stands still for a moment. we hear the applause from the audience. we're still in character but must leave their world behind. entering the actor we were we leave the stage to change back into who we were. saying goodbye to fellow actors and actresses. recieving flowers as we leave. not noticing that its all over for your character.
